Who We
Are

Our Story

End Solitary Washington is a coalition led by survivors of solitary confinement and made up of currently and formerly incarcerated individuals, their families, nonprofits, faith groups, and other allies united to end the use of solitary confinement. Many of our members have been advocating against this inhumane practice for over a decade, and we have been organizing together as a coalition since 2021.
